Section 2 ~Bounty Hunter Poker League

Article One ~ Rules

  • Bounty Hunter Poker Club rules Apply (Section 1, Articles 1 &2)
  • Payouts will be set by the players prior to the deal. $20 from each session will be taken from the prize pool to finance the end of the year trophy and league admin costs.
  • Winner will be determined by the player with the highest point total at the end of the season. In the event of a tie the tie breaker is money won. If that is also a tie a heads up tourney will be played to determine the winner.
  • The season runs on a calendar year Jan 1 to Dec 31
  • There must be at least 6 players for a game to be eligible for League play
  • The end of the year points will be calculated by using the highest point totals of 75% of the tourneys played by a league rounded up, i.e. if the league played 10 tourneys the top 8 scores for each player would be used, if 12 tourneys, the top 9 scores will be used.
  • If remaining players wish to “split the pot” rather than play it out they may do so with the money. Points how ever will be set by chip count at the point of decision to split the pot. Player with the highest chip count receives 1st place points, 2nd in chip count gets second etc etc. No manipulation of points is allowed

Article Two ~ Points

  • Points system is dynamic based on the number of players. This is to account for the difficulty of winning a tourney with more players.

All Players start with 1 point

Each player gains 1 point for each player that is knocked out before them

Each player who makes the money will receive a 1 point bonus

Winning player receives a 2 point bonus

Each knockout is worth 0.5 point

The below scenario is based on a 10 person game where the top 3 get paid.

    10th place player- 1

    9th place player- 2

    8th place player-3

    7th place player - 4

    6th place player - 5

    5th place player - 6

    4th place player - 7

    3rd place player - 9

    2nd place player- 10

    1st place player- 13
